NBC Universal launches Radius, the first fully convergent premium fitness brand and Current Music has created the sound! Radius is a new premium subscription digital video service from NBCUniversal that makes first-class fitness experiences accessible anytime, anywhere, on any screen. Radius works intuitively via RadiusFitness.com across mobile, tablets, desktops, and via the Radius Fitness app for iPhone and iPad, providing consumers with easy access to personalized workouts on their terms, time, and turf.
Current Music was tasked to come up with a sonic logo for Radius, which is being used as the identifier of the brand for all of it’s media. Something quick, catchy and memorable, with just a few notes. Something that makes you feel good, healthy and motivated. Something that all demographics can relate to. Something that when you hear it, you instantly identify it as the sound of Radius. Once we achieved that, we then created bumpers, beds, commercial and promotional length variations and a variety of musical interpretations to flex the personality of the brand.
Congrats to our composer Todd Andrew and our CCO/Producer/Mixer Christian Salyer, who not only created the package, but spent weeks perfecting it.
